RECOMMENDED BRAKE ROTORS

Frozen Rotors

Frozen Rotors from Diversified Cryogenics deliver increased performance and a higher level of safety while significantly reducing braking system costs. Our proprietary, 60-hour cryogenic process permanently and dramatically improves the usage life and stability of brake rotors to create a distinct advantage in tensile strength, abrasive wear resistance and rotor longevity.

Frozen Rotors Slotted

Frozen Rotors Slotted brake rotors give your vehicle better braking performance and are cryogenically treated for maximum brake rotor life. Frozen Rotors Slotted brake rotors will provide your car, truck, or race car, extra brake “bite” or “stopping power.” We recommended them for performance cars, trucks, and race cars alike.

GiroDisc

Along with the benefits of cryo-processing, The 2-piece construction of this rotor makes it significantly lighter. Additionally, the rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc to their own specifications that are cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self-center between the pads.

Pagid Racing

PAGID Racing compounds have a very high content of non-ferrous (ceramic) materials. The difference to competitor’s metallic compounds is the superior thermal insulation and higher heat resistance combined with low heat conductivity, reducing heat transfer to the caliper (up to a massive 60 °C) preventing boiling of the fluid.

All PAGID Racing compounds are designed to minimize wear of the pad-rotor system, while maintaining optimum bite, brake modulation and pedal feel. All friction compounds meet or surpass all current ecological standards of the automotive industry.

Pagid Racing RS-29 Yellow

New endurance compound. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its outstanding wear rate and drivability PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well.

Performance Friction 11 compound

Based on the out-going 01-compound, Performance Friction's 11-compound takes the same great high-bite and torque but with even better rotor and pad wear characteristics and improved bite, modulation, and release. Exhibiting a very high initial bite and torque, very little temperature induced torque rise follows. Less torque scatter exists for improved modulation with excellent release, helping to eliminate wheel lock at the end of a stop.

Performance Friction 08 compound

Performance Friction's 08 compound is one of PFC's newest offerings and has gained immediate favor in Endurance Sportscar, and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. The 08 Compound features a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics, and very low abraded disc wear. In addition to its considerable performance, 08 wears the longest of all PFC pads and easily matches the wear of the other competitors with a much higher bite.

Raybestos

Over the years, many drivers have taken the checkered flag using Raybestos brakes. Today, drivers still rely on Raybestos' quality and innovation for first-lap-to-last-lap championship performance.

Race proven by champions globally, Raybestos Professional Racing Brake Pads are engineered to provide reliable, consistent braking in all track conditions. Extensive high-temperature, fade-resistance testing on our friction guarantees championship results. 

Raybestos ST-43 are our favorite intermediate track pad. Very aggressive pad, yet easy on the rotors. They are down slightly on overall friction and initial bite from the most aggressive offerings, with the flipside being lower running temps and increased component life. Make no mistake, these pads are the real deal. We have customers running them in Ferrari Challenge cars, Evo's, STi's, Vipers, Corvettes and more. If you rely on ABS, these pads will be more forgiving with their initial bite. When you read the factory literature for these pads, they downplay them abit as being not very agressive. When you consider these are developed for Nascar (read heavy, high-horsepower, lots of tire and downforce), "Intermediate" means "Full Boogie" in a 350-400hp amateur driven sports cars. These have been tested by countless customers and given the universal thumbs up for overall performance and satisfaction. Run what the winners run!
